Office Administrator – Used Car Dealer – Bristol Full Time

Our client is a dynamic, friendly and rapidly developing used car dealer group with up to 2,000 cars in stock across 4 branches. Working hard to provide customers with the best possible experience they are always on the lookout for ambitious and driven people to join their ‘extra mile’ team.

Due to continued growth they have a vacancy for an Office Administrator to join their busy team in Bristol.


Purpose of the Office Administrator Role

To fully support the Administration team in their role to enable the provision of a professional and efficient administration service.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Reviewing, processing and filing sales paperwork for each car sale that takes place at the Bristol branch
  • Inputting of purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of sales orders within our account software
  • Banking
  • Liaison with external companies and suppliers
  • General administration work

 

General responsibilities

  • Work professionally as a member of the Administration team, communicating information efficiently and effectively to staff as required
  • Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure front line enquiries are dealt with promptly
  • Ensure correct input, maintenance and retrieval of data
  • Accept ownership for timely completion of tasks, within tight deadlines
  • Promote and share a good working environment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Good standard of English and Maths: GCSE Level C and above, or Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 on the NQF or equivalent.
  • Attainment of Level 3 qualifications or equivalent is advantageous

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise workloads utilising all resources to ensure that objectives are met.
  • Must be willing to adopt a hands-on approach and assist others when required
  • Good IT skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience in collating, analysing and presenting data and information efficiently, accurately and methodically would be advantageous

Experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of administration practices
  • Knowledge and awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative role
  • Experience within the automotive industry is not essential but would be advantageous
